Welcome to Whiskers & Tails
We at FAS have long dreamt of a permanent shop that would benefit the sanctuary. In January of 2024 that dream became a reality. Inspired by the success of our annual Christmas Store, two of our board members designed a concept for a year-round shop in the same location we’ve used for the Christmas Store in the past.
The new shop is not a typical thrift store selling everything from socks to silverware. Rather we styled it as a “resale gift shop” in which we sell virtually anything that could be considered giftable, including new and gently used housewares, decor, and jewelry. We also accept donations of clothing that could be worn for a special occasion, items pertaining to holidays such as Easter and Halloween (as well, of course, as Christmas), and anything with a pet motif. We also have a large stock of items for your pet, such as crates, beds, collars, leashes, toys, and clothing.
The response from the community has been wonderfully positive. Many supporters came to join in the festivities at our grand opening and ribbon cutting.
The success of the shop depends entirely on the support of the Fallbrook community. Please continue to bring us donations to sell, and to stop in and enjoy a fun and fulfilling time browsing for that perfect must-have gift for a loved one. We also would love to welcome you to volunteer! Come interact with our customers, create beautiful displays, organize donations, and enjoy the fun at the shop.
Whiskers & Tails is located at 746 South Main Avenue and is open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday-Saturday. Donations are accepted during shop hours.
