Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary is 100% volunteer-run. Every meal served, enclosure cleaned, dog walked, adoption completed, and animal comforted is made possible by people who give their time.
Ways to Volunteer
Find the role that best matches your skills, availability, and interests.
Animal Care
Prepare meals, refresh water, clean enclosures, do laundry, provide enrichment, socialize cats, and walk dogs. Reliable daily care is the foundation of everything we do.
Events and Outreach
Represent FAS at community events, adoption days, fundraisers, donation drives, and educational programs.
Professional and Practical Skills
Support photography, writing, social media, administration, grant work, transportation, repairs, landscaping, and other operational needs.
Before You Apply
- Volunteers must be 18 or older.
- Animal-care volunteers commit to one regular two-hour shift each week.
- Morning animal care begins at 8:00 a.m.
- Work may include cleaning, bending, lifting, and handling animals.
- Volunteers must follow FAS safety and animal-handling procedures.
